Zambia border posts directory

This directory lists Zambian border crossings with the neighbouring country, one-stop border post (OSBP) status, published hours, agencies and corridor. The Zambia Revenue Authority manages customs at each post profiled by the WFP Logistics Cluster 1,2. Hours come mostly from undated WFP profiles read on 24 October 2026 and can change 1. Jimbe and Mbala hours come from an undated Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) table. The table cites no source and other tables in the same document cite sources accessed in 2018 27. A blank cell means no source read for this page confirmed the fact. Check with ZRA before travel.

Notes

  • Kazungula's WFP profile could not be read for this directory. Its hours are not shown. In May 2021 President Edgar Lungu said the bridge should operate 22 hours a day as soon as possible 21.
  • WFP profiles for Jimbe, the Mpulungu border crossing and Kazungula could not be read for this directory 2. Nchelenge, Chipungu and Chanida were added from WFP pages read on 24 October 2026 22,23,24.
  • Mokambo's WFP profile gives two different sets of hours. Both are shown 14.
  • The undated C-BRTA table, in a document whose other tables cite 2018 sources, lists Chirundu at 06:00 to 22:00 and Kasumbalesa as an OSBP. The undated WFP profiles list Chirundu at 24 hours and Kasumbalesa as not an OSBP. The Chirundu and Kasumbalesa pages on this site follow WFP. Both values are shown in the rows 27,1 8.
  • The same C-BRTA table lists Wenela (Namibia) and Kazungula Ferry at 06:00 to 18:00 27.
